1. Who we are
Arteluxia Living is a wellbeing mobile app published by Daniel Miranda (an individual). It offers a conversational companion called Luxia, available in English and French. For any question about your data: miranda.m.daniel@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
The app works without an account: an anonymous technical identifier is generated on your device. The following is stored on our servers, linked to that identifier: your conversations with Luxia, your journal entries, the activities you log, your profile (first name, preferences, language, the schedule you share), the memory summary built by the app and, if you allow it, your approximate location (for weather and place suggestions) and your notification token. Your calendar events are read on the device and sent only when needed to generate a reply; they are not stored.
Voice dictation: the microphone is used only when you tap the dictation button. Your voice is turned into text by your phone's speech recognition service (Google on Android); we never receive the audio recording, only the text you choose to send.
Feedback: if you use "Share feedback", your message is stored together with the app version and phone type, to help us fix and improve the service.
3. How we use it
This data is used only to run the service: personalizing Luxia's replies and messages, and improving your experience. No selling of data, no advertising, no sharing for commercial purposes.
4. Service providers
Anthropic (AI reply generation), Railway (data hosting, Western Europe region), Expo (notification delivery), OpenWeather and Google Places (weather and places, based on your location if allowed), RevenueCat and Google Play (subscription management; we never access your payment details).
5. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as you use the service. You can delete everything at any time, directly in the app: Profile, Settings, "Reset my experience". This permanently erases all of your data from our servers (conversations, journal, memory, profile). You can also request deletion by email.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, erase and port your data, and to object to its processing. The "What Luxia knows about you" screen lets you view, correct or erase the memory Luxia has built. For any other request: miranda.m.daniel@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL: cnil.fr).
7. Security and minimum age
All exchanges are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). The app is intended for people aged 16 and over.
